In the United States, there are multiple Myxecast brand products that can be misused.
The Myxicast brand of treatment medication contains an ingredient that causes mold growth and can cause mold to form on the skin and mucous membranes.
The FDA says the mold can cause hypersensitivity and dermatitis, which can cause the skin to itch, itch excessively and make it more susceptible to other skin diseases.
Last year, the Food and Drug Administration reported Myxekase products were made in Mexico.
Myoxicast is now recalling its first batch of the Myxamax line of medications because of a mold problem.
The company said it was working to fix the problem and had notified customers.
